OLD RUSHFORTH
A very old Shepherd is sitting in a chair by the fire with his cat Spasky. He reminisces on his life in the hills, and digs his vegetable garden before he dies.

FIRST COMMUNION
A young woman takes her first communion in the village church, looks up and finds it is their gardener who is offering it to her. She holds it up against the moon.

THE FAUN AND THE GODDESS
A Pastoral Sympathy. The Faun seduces the Goddess sculpture with words and proposals. Each time she comes down from her pedestal he leaves her. She escapes to the hills and falls in love again. She returns and the Faun laughs.




 

DYING PATIENT
An old man is dying and retracts his hand from mine. He needs nothing from anyone because he says he is already in another world. I bring him some sweet peas to smell.

NIGHT BUS IN LONDON
There is a Pakistani bus conductor talking to an African passenger. Much humour and shock as two dogs copulate in the gangway. The ticket rack could be a bar.

A COURT CASE
There is false accusation in a medical court case. The Doctor's distress and his thoughts on the injustice of the hearing. Boredom and fatigue set in.

BATTERSEA PARK PROBLEM
A man is skipping on the deck of his barge moving up the river Thames beside Battersea Park. He seemed still, poised on an instant of time as the boat moves.
